Referred to as a “quintessential practitioner” for his work in Latin America and globally, Phil is not afraid to think outside the box and challenges others to do the same. Phil is a leadership coach as well as the author of God’s Relentless Pursuit: Discovering His Heart for Humanity and THRIVE: How to Successfully Navigate the S-Turns of Leadership. As the National Director of Vineyard USA, Phil brings a non-hyped, down-to-earth, passionately authentic spirit and vision to leading the Vineyard Movement in its divine assignment.

Amanda Nash

Women in Leadership Team Vineyard Columbus, OH, Community Life Pastor

Amanda has worked on staff at Vineyard Columbus since 2002. She started out working as Pastor Rich Nathan’s Research Assistant and then moved into working for the 20something ministry called Joshua House. In 2008 she moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands to plant a church with a team from Vineyard Columbus for 3 years. She returned to Vineyard Columbus and now currently serves as the Community Life Pastor overseeing small groups, men’s, women’s and singles ministries. She has been married for over 12 years and has 3 children ages 2, 5 & 7.

For the past 11 years, Luke has served as the lead pastor of a Vineyard church in Northern WI. Husband to one and father to five, he is passionate about Jesus, the work of the Spirit, and the mission of God, as well as most biblical-theological subjects, underground hip hop, and coffee. Adam is the pastor of Vineyard Campbellsville in Central Kentucky along with his wife Heather. Adam has traveled extensively in the Vineyard training worship leaders and songwriters in creating a culture of songwriting in a local church context. He has written many well-known songs in the Vineyard such as - "Name Above All Names", "Face to Face", "Folks Like Us", and "Let Your Kingdom Come".

Sara Carlisle

The Order of Sustainable Faith, School of Spiritual Direction

Before finishing her Master of Divinity a couple years ago, Sara pastored at Vineyard Columbus for almost a decade. Her love for pastoring and assisting others to clarify their calling inspired her to start her own Spiritual Direction practice where she currently serves men and women in the Columbus, Ohio area and beyond. She now serves as a teacher for Sustainable Faith Schools of Spiritual Direction, training other pastors and leaders in Spiritual Direction. She is also thrilled to be a pastor with the Order of Sustainable Faith and serving on the Board of Directors of Sustainable Faith. Sara also enjoys up-cycling vintage furniture, preaching, writing poetry, learning to play the mandolin, live music, cooking, reading, painting, baking, teaching yoga, playing with her ten nieces and nephews (they are her favorite people on earth!), and sitting fireside at her home in Clintonville.

InterVarsity National Director of Evangelism Author

James Choung has been involved in campus ministries for over 23 years, empowering rising generations of Kingdom world-changers. He currently serves as InterVarsity’s national director of evangelism, and is ordained with the Association of Vineyard Churches. He has written True Story: A Christianity Worth Believing In and its follow-up, Real Life: A Christianity Worth Living Out. He frequently speaks at campuses, churches, and conferences, and his work has been featured in many publications including Christianity Today, Leadership Journal, and Outreach Magazine. For fun, he likes to travel with his wife, tease his two sons, spoil his daughter, bask in Los Angeles’ endless summer, and swing a racket in hopes of playing something like tennis. Michael Gatlin co-pastors, with his wife Brenda, the Vineyard Church in Duluth, MN. Michael also leads the Multiply Vineyard team which exists to encourage and empower local churches as they multiply disciples, leaders, and churches. Michael’s primary focus is to see Vineyard churches be healthy and multiply. His passion is helping people to discover and express all that God created them to be. When he’s not riding his motorcycle, Michael loves to spend time with his family, read, create art, or even take some time to play a little music.

Mike and Sherri pastor and follow Jesus with the folks at Vineyard in Des Moines, IA. We have 6 adult children, 5 grandchildren with one on the way. We are pastors, coaches, spiritual directors, but mostly what we are is just one beggar showing another beggar where to find bread. Our goal in life is to have our epitaph be 'they loved and prayed like a maniac'.

Jerry Lanier is the Creative Designer at the Mile High Vineyard. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Jerry was first connected to MHV during our 2010 Cause Conference. He then attended and graduated from the Heroic Leadership Institute (Lewiston, Maine) in 2012. Responding to the Lord's prompting, he moved to Denver in July 2013 to join our staff and to assist in the launch of the Heroic Leadership Institute in Denver. With over ten years' experience as a graphic artist, he has developed a desire for seeing the many different mediums of art assist people in exploring what life with God is and what it looks like to meet, love and follow Jesus. Jerry and his wife Sierra were married in 2014.

Joshua Williams is the Lead Pastor of the Elm City Vineyard Church in New Haven, CT. He is passionate about building reconciling communities that lead strongly, collaborate effectively, and cultivate a spirit of family. Josh has received his education from multiple communities: Yale University, New Haven’s homeless, his inner-city neighborhood of Kensington Street, and his beloved family, to name a few.  He loves Star Wars, superheroes, and big dreams. He is happily married to his wife and fellow dreamer, Tina.

Suhail Stephen

Vineyard Justice Network Winnipeg Centre Vineyard, Winnipeg CA, Pastor

Suhail Stephen is from India, grew up as a missionary kid, and has lived in a total of seven countries. He currently serves on staff at the Winnipeg Centre Vineyard (WCV) in Canada as pastor of the Drop-In (street parish ministry) and director of the Vineyard School of Justice. He has been part of the Vineyard since 2001 and prior to WCV, served with Trinity Vineyard Christian Fellowship in St. Charles, Illinois, and with Kowloon City Vineyard in Hong Kong. He has a B.A in English Literature and Philosophy from Wheaton College and an M.A in Community Leadership and Philanthropy Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He and his wife, Jennifer, met at WCV and have been married almost two years.

Mark Walker

Mark walker is the pastor to the Village and to the Vineyard in Beaufort, SC. He has 30 years in initiating and sustaining compassion and justice projects both nationally and in more than 30 countries abroad, and has been consultant to international NGOs and USAid groups. He has found himself to be comfortable in the uncomfortable areas and regions of conflict, to include Central America, Eastern Europe and Africa. His heart is and has been to establish influential relationships with indigenous people groups, with the goal of promoting growth and health in all areas of life. He likes to say - “Compassion gets you there, the Church keeps you there.” He’s “sweetie” to one, “Dad” to three and “Papa” to two.

Melisa Keller

Vineyard Worship Fullerton Vineyard, Fullerton, CA

Melisa Keller works for Vineyard Worship, leading the Vineyard Worship Leader Retreats and serving as a project manager for all products and album releases. She's been in the Vineyard movement since 1986, and served on the National Worship Task Force for 3 years as regional overseers for the Western region, where she, along with her husband Scott, organized and executed numerous training events and worship leader/team gatherings. Today, Melisa leads worship Vineyard Fullerton in Southern California, and has stepped into more of a training role, speaking and teaching in churches and worship-related workshops and events throughout the country.

Heroic Leadership Institute

Jenna Stepp currently serves on the Vineyard USA’s national youth task force and is passionate about seeing young people empowered with the supernatural reality of the Christian life! Jenna holds a bachelors degree in International Business from Oral Roberts University and a graduate of the Vineyard Leadership Institute. Jenna directs Heroic Leadership Institute (HLI) staff, hosts HLI gatherings, develops curriculum, and assists in the teaching/mentoring portions of HLI.
