We’re partnering together with Vineyard leaders across the movement for CauseCon 2016. These leaders from all over the Vineyard will be representing many different areas of interest and ministry. You’ll have the chance to press into the purpose of your life and the meaning for which you were created by engaging with these groups, hearing their vision, and asking questions. You’ll have plenty of time to respond in worship, asking God what he has called you to. One of the groups attending is Women in Leadership.
Women in Leadership’s Vision:
Women in Leadership’s vision is to enlighten and Equip women and men in the Vineyard to fully Embrace and Endorse women in all levels of leadership in our movement.
What Women in Leadership looks like:
Our team is composed of both older and younger women as well as ‘adjunct’ men members who have championed our cause of women in leadership. More women are leading, preaching and saying yes to leadership in the Vineyard–without hindrance! We published a booklet –One in Christ– that details our VIneyard theology and history of women in leadership.
Why they want to talk to you:
There are hundreds(probably thousands!) of young women in our movement who are gifted to lead. CauseCon is a great place to connect with you, encourage you in your calling and direct you to the next step in you leadership journey–church planter, senior pastor, area leader, etc.
What you can expect at their booth:
You can expect to hear young women sharing stories of their journeys to envision others. You can expect to receive resources for those seeking to learn how to work healthfully and fruitfully as a team and you’ll make connections with potential mentors.
Who you’ll meet at their booth:
Amanda Nash has worked on staff at Vineyard Columbus since 2002. She started out working as Pastor Rich Nathan’s Research Assistant and then moved into working for the 20something ministry called Joshua House. In 2008 she moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands to plant a church with a team from Vineyard Columbus for 3 years. She returned to Vineyard Columbus and now currently serves as the Community Life Pastor overseeing small groups, men’s, women’s and singles ministries. She has been married for over 12 years and has 3 children ages 2, 5 & 7.
